I seen this case on “Reasonable Dount” and I was so mad. I cannot believe the injustice in this case, just ridiculous. I’ve been keeping him in my prayers and hopefully soon he will be a free man!

I whole heartedly believe this young man is innocent. I’m sick & tired of the legal system breaking the law & when an innocent person does finally get off after 20-40 years in prison none of the law enforcement never pays the price. I truly hope this man & many others get to come home.

It’s certainly possible that the girlfriend was involved….and possibly her “other man” did the killing. Why did he stay in the truck while she was going in with the baby….possibly a drug deal? Prayers for Evaristo and his family.

I myself have been to prison, and after listening to him talking to Chris on the show "Reasonable Doubt" I believe he's innocent.
I was very bitter and angry for being set up on a drug deal and being sent to prison but I soon came to realize that had I continued on in my life of a user of drugs I may have been dead. That was 24 years ago. And I came out and flourished because although I was sent to prison for something I didn't do I would have ended up there eventually for something I would have done. This young man stated that he was very angry at first but come to realize that he couldn't have hate in his heart which he is to be commended for that. That's the reason that I have no problem signing this petition because I feel in my heart he did not do what he was charged with. He may have done things or would have done things in the future that would have caused him to go to prison but I don't think he's there for the right reason now. And I don't think he would ever be in trouble again once he got out, just like I stayed out of trouble.

This man is innocent. I'm from Canada and what I've read and heard Show that this man was just a number to close the case. Olivia is the one who should be looked at. Give this man his freedom he might have been in a gang and done things that are wrong but he did not kill Jose. I Don't understand how people are so blind to put a person away for so long when there is no evidence connecting him to the case except for these supposed eye witnesses that are the man's girlfriend and an informant who says it wasn't true. The girlfriend Olivia has the only motive and of course is going to finger point so the heat isn't on her. I've been to school, college for law enforcement and can see clearly this man is innocent. Wake up!!!

How about you check out Olivia? She seems likes the only one who had motive and has acted suspicious since it happened. Cleaning the truck 4 days after the shooting when it was evidence? No possible way a 5 foot person can commit this crime. Olivia got someone to do it. It's so obvious, I don't understand how no one else see's this.
