This is a terrible injustice. I feel they should be looking into the girlfriend A LOT more. I also feel they locked this young man away based on lies told by the victims girlfriend, she should have been charged for picking up the vehicle which was the crime scene plus cleaning and selling it before it was even checked. That is insane that they would convict this young man without the crime scene. I do feel this woman is involved and truly knows who did this and that she may even be the one. I pray that for the victim and his families sake that they reopen this case so everyone can get closure and that the wrongfully accused can get his life back. Being a gang member does not make you a killer and does not make you disposable. The judge is being unfair as this is a clear case of injustice.

The investigation was a disgrace. This man deserves a new trial. I highly doubt he would be convicted again.

It's so obvious he's innocent... I don't understand why juries get cases like this so wrong.

He's been through enough. Railroaded at 15 and the county doesn't want to make right what they made wrong, avoiding settlements.

This is not fair. This corrupt system is covering itself because alot of good old boys will go down for this if this trail is reopened. I hope the all burn. Free Salas

What a tragedy that this young man has been victimised and ostracised all for Rivard to feel like he’s a man that can solve cases but in reality is paying for people so these cases can be solved. Rivard needs to face prosecution
