This kid had an alibi! Ridiculous to see so much information be disregarded. Crazy thing is this is America and if it happened to him it can happen to any of us!

The justice system can be so corrupt, I learned of this case through Netflix. I hope that when Jr does get out even if after he serves the sentence that was so wrongfully given, that he continues to fight to clear his name and record. So that the Sunnyside PD can pay for what they've done. He would be compensated for his wrongful conviction, not only that but then they would be able to focus on finding the real killer. The idea that the informant has pretty much recanted his statement and that the ballistic analysis was pretty obvious that the person who did the shooting would have been taller that just 5 ft tall. Along with the victims girlfriend taking the vehicle in which the murder happened just 4 days from the incident WITHOUT permission, cleaned it, then charged with obstruction for getting rid of evidence. This is a joke. That police department, prosecutors, justice system is a cruel joke.

Thus happens all the time because cops and the ‘justice’ system are corrupt and have always been!!!

After watching the documentary "Wrong Man" and listening to the evidence and the informant recant his testimony I firmly believe this man is innocent. What happened to him is a travesty and unfortunately happens all too often. I'm hoping and praying he receives a new trial and will be finally free.

What an injustice to hold anyone innocent of a crime in prison. What a disappointment this is for America.

It's insane that with all of the mishandling of his case, they are still denying him another chance at freedom. The detective is WRONG and should have to pay for his slimy, unethical, selfish actions.

This young man was convicted almost no evidence whatsoever. The informant lied for the cops and the girlfriend of the victim tampered with the only physical evidence..the truck..howdoes this happen and not get a new trial in this country..just sickening!!!

I know in my heart he is free and so does the judge but that would mean admitting that they where wrong and that justice was not served and the wrong man is paying for something someone else did so everyone loses nobody wins and it all ends up tomoney the longer he sits they get paid it's all a pyramid scheme not about what's right or wrong

He is innocent, Rivard is not, the courts need to look into this further.

I truly believe he’s innocent after watching the “wrong man” episodes. That crooked cop needs to be prosecuted along with others that participated in interviews there as well. The killer was interviewed by Ira Todd.
