I watched Starz ‘Wrong Man’ and am hoping this man gets a new trial. I am saddened though a lifetime has already been taken from him. Hopefully he enjoys the next 20 years a free man.

I new him from school and i new there was no way he did this he may have been a little bad ass but not a killer and seeing the documentary i dont know how they found him guilty there was no evidence all i know is wen hes free that cop and that guys girlfriend need to be put away in prision

Give the kid a new trail due to the new evidence or just let him go free and arrest the detective who railroaded him.

We are unwitting participants in a "Legal" system, withy many Americans confused and falsely believing it is a "Justice" system. My hope is that we all can discern between the two and find a way to navigate through the muddy waters of the Law and free as many People as possible who have been wrongly convicted, including those who are victims of over-charging and aggressive sentencing. May God be with all inmates, everywhere!

Sad how much we depend on justice in our country. To see it fail for sobmany who are innocent who else is locked up that dont belong there.? How many?? Damn could be any one of us or our children. Think about that!!!!!

I'm a Sunnyside resident and I am so shocked that something like this happened in our small town and has been swept under the rug for so long. O would hope and pray the the judicial system would help Junior and the victims family finally get justice. Both parties in this situation were robbed, Mr. Salas of any chance at a real childhood and the Family Of the deceased victim of justice for their loved one. They have been fed false evidence to make them believe that the right person was convicted. Now they will have to go through the pain of not knowing all over again, but I pray that they find Ricardo. Because I believe whole heartedly that he is the true coprit and I believe that the victims wife know this and knows who he is by her actions. Why wouldn't she want to help if there was a possibility that the person who killed the father of her child was still walking free and that a boyin prision for it was possibly wrongfully convicted? There are more than one guilty party when it comes to this wrongful conviction, the one with the biggest responsibility being Det. Rivard. I believe the wife/girlfriend knows more than she is letting on, especially since it was proven by lie detector test that Bill was telling the truth about Rivard. Meaning when she supposedly ID'd Salas it could have been some sort of conspiracy with her and Rivard to help keep the real killer free for some reason. Possibly Rivard could be put under a microscope if the real killer was ID'd because Rivard had possibly had some sketchy dealings with him, and in fear he would be outted if the man was brought in he and the wife/girlfriend agreed on Salas as the one responsible. The wife/girlfriend could have been scared to ID or possibly having an affair with the real killer (Ricardo) .The informant is responsible as well but has come clean and has a concious to come clean. His responsibility has obviously taken a toll on him, it possibly can be doing the same to others that played a roll but not eno
