This is absurd, Ricardo did this murder. This kid what he was in 1996 was never at the crime scene at the time of the murder. The police officer just wanted to frame him! America is a crazy place and you can get convicted by false accusations!

Dear Evaristo. I don't know if this will get to you personally. But i watched the documentary about you. And i feel like you've been robbed of a fair trial and your life. Watching other documentaries, about Steven Avery and Ryan Ferguson (who has been freed) for example, i'm really shocked at the American justice system. They are more concerned with locking people away quickly than finding the real killer and that is so scary. Something needs to change and i'm baffled that it hasn't happened yet, even after so many amazing documentary makers and defense lawyers have shown clearly that something is wrong with the legal system as a whole. There was no real evidence to tie you to the scene and the fact that the informer told that the police bribed him should be enough to let you free. But it's not because they are all protecting each other. It's disgusting. And i'm thinking about you. Kisses from a girl from the Netherlands

I believe ur innocent and hope that you get to be free one day and all the ppl that lied be put in jail.

I'm not easily moved to comment or react to a situation such as this. Not that I don't care about other people. But in this world full of Injustices a person would be overwhelmed. But in this case I feel that By not in the very least participate in a petition to have this case retried fairly and honestly presented before the courts. That I would also as a fellow citizens/human being, would be further committing an Injustice to a person pleading for his life. I can't say that I without a doubt believe his innocence. But any person with reasonable intellect and unbaised thinking would recognize a sheep from a wolf. In my opinion there's two victims that will never recoupe what they lost. And many wolves that are stained with the blood of the deceased and cruel oppressers of life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And to think that they swore an oath to uphold those rights.

Junior, I just watched the documentary and I know for a fact you did not do it. I’m so sorry you’re having to spend all his time in prison. One day soon you’ll wake up and be released, I can feel it in my heart.

This is gross injustice and the lead detective and prosecutor need to be given the same amount of time you had to do except by all rights you should be a wealthy man while they remain scum and liars.

This trial was unbelievable unfair. I've have seen the investigation Wrong Man and I believe he must be a free man.

Many innocent people are locked away, behind law enforcement retaliation or cover ups. However it is not ok to strip an innocent person or child freedom for someone’s wrong doings. What’s the land of the free? May this new case rule in Evaristo Salas favor.

After watching his case on the show wrong man I think this young man was definitely setup to try to teach him a life lesson because of the direction that he was heading and it went horribly wrong. Those that caused this man to be locked up unfairly needs to be held responsible.

Unreal that this still happens today
