It’s obvious this young man was wrongly convicted. The true killer is Ricardo it seems. (Due process needed). Thank you to team who investigated and was able to reveal the truth. God bless them all. Hope Evaristo is released soon!

He should be released from prison immediately or given a new trial based on new evidence.Then he would be released once the evidence is shown in court.

This case is so open and shut- that damn corrupt cop NEEDS TO BE IN JAIL. Let that kid out- this is the worst case I’ve seen in which an officer blatantly lies- IN OUBLIC- and yet he’s home right now. Disgusting!!!!!!!

I’m so very sorry that this has happened to you... With all of my heart I hope, at the very least, they get you a new trial, so that all of this can be reinvestigated and looked into... I will keep you and yours in my heart always.... Never allow others to force you to give up... Always fight for what you truly believe and, in the end, all will be shown... After watching the documentary, I was infuriated watching not only former Det. Ricard, but also former Officer Trevino. From Trevino being smug and condescending while dodging all questions and responsibility, choosing to answer "that's what it says there," when presented with documents regarding the handling of the main piece of crime scene evidence. Why had he still not processed the truck 4 days later? Normally, you process the crime scene as much as possible on scene in order to preserve evidence and prevent contamination. Now IF it becomes a necessity to move the vehicle the victim was shot in and it has not been processed completely or in this case AT ALL, then it is brought to a secure location i.e the police station or somewhere it can be locked up with no access except for the Officer in charge of collecting from the scene. Ricard is even worse with his blatant lies about his snitch not getting paid EVER, even though there is documentation of the payments. He lied about quite a few things and when confronted on it, he throws his snitch under the bus. He is a disgrace to the badge. Sorry for making this so long, I just had to vent after watching the Doc. Keep your head up Junior, you may not know any of us but we know enough of you to stand up and fight with you homie. I'll be mailing you some info as well. Stay up and keep looking for that light because the tunnel just got a lot shorter.

After me watching this documentary of everybody still Junior sauna I feel like he is legible to be free there's no reason why a child 15 years old was put into the prison system of a crooked cop just to cover all the things that they needed to cover exposed cases I feel that Evaristo Salas Jr he has the right to get his freedom back of what was taken from him..and damages be paid to him of being wrongfully convicted of a murder he did not commute..he needs to be free to his family and dropped from all charges.
