I’m sadden that this young man was wrongful convicted of a crime he did not commit, even saddens me more that his father was unable to see his son freed from a crime he did not commit!!! God bless you and your family ♥️

Based on the investigation and information giving by witnesses I strongly believe Evaristo Salas Jr. Is innocent. Although I have no criminal justice background, I can say it doesn’t take a genius to realize someone drop the ball on Arreola’s homicide case. For starters per witnesses Arreola’s girlfriend yell “ Ricardo leave him alone “ ( she knew the shooter ) witnesses claimed the killer was older and taller, the girlfriend took out the truck from the pound and no further forensic examination was performed... just based on that rises a red flag that the girlfriend was hiding Something or covering for someone... which leads me to believe she knows more than she is saying... in conclusion the murder was pinned on a troubled kid... Evaristo deserves his freedom!

This is injustice. For a child to be sentenced as an adult with no actual evidence brought forth to the jury. I for one believe this man needs to be released and paid for defamation of character.

He needs to have his case reopened and looked at. There is now evidence that the informant lied and he even signed an affidavit swearing an oath that that is the truth!

The informer is a disgrace!! He should be locked up. Young Mr Salas is the victim here it’s cruel!!! The police officer needs to be investigated and Mr Salas compensated for the loss of his youth. Sad world we live in. God bless you Evaristo.

It seems apparent the detective was trying to make a name for himself, sad that a young man has and continues to suffer in prison for a crime he clearly didn't commit, why is it so hard for the courts in Sunnyside to go to re-trial. Praying for the Salas family and the victims family. Incredibly sad that a Detective would lie instead of doing his sworn duty.. So a murderer stays free and an innocent 14 year old suffers for what???
