abuse messes you up in so many different ways. some people abuse others, some people abuse themselves, some people lash back at their abuser when they finally snap and stand up for themselves. abuse can accelerate your growth so you act older than you really are but it can also very much stunt your development greatly in many ways. these men were little boys that endured horrific sexual abuse for so long. they took it out on themselves, on each other, and most likely on other people too for as long as they could. to have such a powerful father in the industry with so much wealth and influence “two rich kids” claims are nothing and a man like that would not let anyone embarrass him i think even if it meant killing his own sons. he molested them horrifically for years from such a young age you cant say he wouldn’t. finally so fearful that it was us or them they finally chose themselves. they have served time and prison is not the place they need to be anymore. what they did was wrong but the resources for mental health were not available to them back then. continued therapy rehabilitation and being productive members of society is better for them than rotting in prison. roy rosselló, former member of boy band menudo, was also drugged and raped by their father in the 80’s so i’m also sure there were many others. their dad was basically like harvey weinstein but instead he liked young boys. shows these now men some compassion and grace give them a fair trial with a fair sentencing. life in prison is not what these men who were only boys at the time deserve. if you have ever been abused you might understand. let these men be free, let these men be productive members of society rather than wasting our tax dollars. the law failed these boys and other boys that were molested by there father. the law has a chance to do the right thing and set these men free.

I think the Netflix ‘documentary’ is completely wrong, I believe the brothers were abused and told the complete truth in their testimonies! I don’t believe they should still be in prison and hope they can be freed and enjoy a healthy and happy life with their families.

Je suis Belge, je me suis très intéressé de près à l'affaire criminelle. En Belgique quand des enfants ont étés abusés violemment et sexuellement, n'ont pas leurs place en prison. Tout simplement parce que il y as eu assez de témoignages qui ont décrit précisément des détails. Colocataire à l'université, cousines et cousins, partenaire de cours de théâtre... Le pire ... La mère était complices.
Ici en Belgique, on est professionnels.
Vous , vous êtes la honte.
Sanchez que la vérité vas être divulgué.
Ceux qui ont ont essayé de faire taire les faits, en payeront les conséquences.
La justice existe, ne l'oublie pas.

The Menendez brothers need to be released; they served a sentence that was FAR too harsh. Second trial was ridiculous, everyone needs to know the abuse they endured. Their parents were the Monsters!

These young men should have never went to prison after everybody found out what the dad and mother was doing that to them for years... Yeah they could've went about it a different way not killing them but with all the power that their dad had they had another choice...
