I was shocked by the convictions and the railroading of the case by the DA's office and the judge. Part of my heart has been darkened ever since, not just for Lyle and Erik but for all unjustly imprisoned, and for all corruption that goes on in what is supposed to be a system of due process. It is a travesty of everything to keep them in prison. They both have wives who need them at home.

Stop wasting tax payers dollars keeping them in prison! We all know the second trial was unfair and set to make them fail. Do the right thing and let hem go free!

Ive read about Erik and Lyle and am at present watching the Law and Order True Crime series about their story in Australia.
As a mother, grandmother and human being l find it devastatingly sad. I cannot understand how any judge, jury, legal system, could punish them more by locking them up!! Theyve more than done their time. Free them and give them their much deserved inheritance to finally live normal lives.

Being abused for years puts a constant fear and instability in your life forever. the brothers were in danger and acted how anyone most likely would have if they were raped for that many years. I don't really care what people say about proof because the proof is in the brothers. believe what you want but there telling the truth.

You must release anyone, who committed a crime as a result of being abused for decades. PTSD will make your fear uncontrollable. These brother truly are no threat to society, and I would trust them with my life.

Lyle and Erik deserve to be free!! I understand why they did what they did!! They were the victims and the parents were nothing but abusers!! My own father, his room mate, and my former friend from school abused me!! Come on justice system wake up and smell the coffee abuse happens to ANYONE in every walk of life!! It would be nothing but injustice if they have to continue to live their days out in prison!! Also do not mistake me to be a relative of the late great actor Lon Chaney Jr due to the last name i chose to use on here!! I have another last name but it is affiliated with my dad who i do not intend to be affiliated with!!

In the 90’s we did not have exposure to family violence . Flash forward to 2017 and we know it happens . The Menendez’ brothers show all the typical signs of abuse and their exit plan was a disaster because they had no one but each other and thought they were going to die.Family tried to help early in life but could not get anywhere.
If the system cannot release them , let them please be together . Do what you can do now.
Otherwise, our justice system is guilty of the cruel and unusual punishment they fiercely work to avoid -to the Menendez’ -who they were unable to protect then.

The Brothers received a very harsh penalty considering their parents were there abusers. It's a tragic situation to be in. As a starting point they deserve to be housed together...but they have served their time and it would be a severe unjustifiable decision to continue to have them remain behind bars for life.

How is it that the Manson "family" are eligible for parole to this day (and have been denied each time, THANK GOD) for an unjustifiable crime, but the brothers got life without parole? I want them OUT!

Parents molested Eric and Lyle their whole lives. 20 years is enough hard time in prison. Free them now
