After being neutral and looking at both sides of the story it's clear he doesn't deserve that sentence. Free this man. If anything he's 10% at fault.

I was arrested many times when I was younger. Cops put knees in my back several times. I could breathe just fine. It hurt, it was uncomfortable but I could breathe fine. If he was having problems breathing it was because he was overdosing on drugs. Accelerated heart rate with hard drugs pumping through his system. Recipe for a heart attack. If the people surrounding him would have backed off Derek probably could have helped but he was trying to make sure he wasn't getting attacked while trying to arrest a resisting criminal. Also if Floyd would have just sat in the car he probably wouldn't have elevated his heart rate. He O.D. on illegal drugs. Not Dereks fault. And im a person that doesn't even like cops but I hate injustice even more.

Derek does not deserve the sentence he got. The public image has been so warped and twisted of the event, and now that we have the body cam footage showing the entire context, it is clear that he did not intentionally kill that man. Chauvin deserves a retrial ASAP. He should not spend another minute suffering in prison, away from his family, for doing what every police officer is trained to do.
