Derek Chauvin did not have a fair trial for several reasons! If anyone watched ALL of the evidence they would have seen that! People dying of a drug overdose can be woken up. The statement that they can not be is false among too many others to list here.
On top of that in one of the slides the prosecutors showed, they had changed what one of the speakers had said.
It was all a big lie!
Outside pressure from protesting groups swayed the decision of the jury before the trial ever began. A member of the jury was wearing a T shirt with the saying "get your knee off our necks" before being called to the jury yet lied about it. He had already made up his mind and no evidence would have told him otherwise.
People were throwing pig heads at peoples houses if they supported Chauvin and stated the TRUTH.
You are all locking away an innocent man and feel happy about it because have been blinded.
George Floyd never died of a knee on his neck. Several doctors I know even admitted that and can not see how a doctor could ever say otherwise.
He died of overdose and severely clogged arteries.
Maybe someday everyone will realize the mistake that has now ruined a mans life. It you all that made this mistake. Anyone shouting protests on the streets when you ignored crucial evidence.
Many of the speakers were most likely paid as well to ensure "the right verdict" the protesters outside wished for.
Maybe someday Americans will realize they made a huge mistake.
Do the police a favor. Do not call them when you need help, their lives matter as well they do not deserve to be locked away by people who do not even appreciate what they try and do.
If you called saying someone was attacking you, they would be there saving your life.
Yet you are so quick to attack them.
Make something of yourselves and change your lives for the better so that police will never have to be near you in the first place. Everyone has potential so choose to do good and become someone t

Street name for fentanyl is "Drop Dead". Sellers of this dangerous drug normally get murder charges when their customers die.
So sad, 27 million to family and another 14 million to brother of what's-his-name would have gone a long ways to help these poor afflicted souls. It's a miserable life to wake up every day with nothing better to do than go and buy drugs. So sad. And the stand up guy who served in the military and served his community is facebook lynched for politics. So sad.

So many things went wrong in Derek's trial! There are numerous legitimate reasons to declare a mistrial, to exonerate Derek, or to allow an appeal. I agree with another post that mentions him being offered up as a sacrificial lamb! He was using a police maneuver that many other officers have used throughout the years with no repercussions... why Derek?! He is being used as a political pawn for politicians, government, and "special interest" groups, not because he is guilty of anything but because it fits their narrative and agenda! There are groups out there that have ill-will towards police that have been brewing under the surface for many years, but they have chosen to leverage Derek's situation for their own purposes as an outlet and catalyst for their agenda. This could have happened to any officer. The police force is, as a whole, on trial. Those with ill-will towards the police were just watching and waiting for their chance to make a move and Derek's situation was the "perfect storm" for them. They want to see the police force, as a whole, on trial, and it sucks that Derek represents each and every police officer and police department in the whole country with the wrath of these groups coming down hard on him as the representative. The whole police force is on trial through Derek (again, the sacrificial lamb).
