He made a mistake on the job, distracted by an angry mob and not fully considering the potential fragility of a very large man. But murder it was not, manslaughter maybe. The trial was a joke, with the media and cultural frenzy around this case he cannot get a free trial, and that should not be the standard of a western enlightened democracy. We can do better.

Derek Chauvin did everything according to the rules of the service, The cause of George Floyd's death was an overdose and his poor health

This was a terrible set up, Derek is a good Police officer, BLM was disbanded after the riots and the presidential election, so it was all a set up. Even if the black guy didn't die this time, he would have been in and out of jail for the rest of his life anyway. Please don't waste the life of a good man like Derek on a criminal like that black man.

George died of misinforming the officers early on of not being able to breathe to avoid arrest... when the time came that he could no longer breathe, officer Derek Chauvin could no longer take him seriously. He also resisted the officer continually by not getting into the police car... while in the police car, still refusing to take a safe, transportable posture, he had to be removed from the car... He also lied about being claustrophobic, he had no problem being in the car he was about to drive away a few minutes earlier...

This man should not be in Jail. George Floyd died of a drugs overdose. Derek Chauvin didnt get a fair trial and has basically been railroaded. This was all ruled by the mob and is an absolute disgrace.
