I'll share the news story I read about Mr. Anderson. A man sentenced to 13 years in prison for robbery back in 1999. He was told to await instructions on where to serve his sentence, but the instructions never arrived. In the intervening years, he became a carpenter, started 3 businesses, got married and had children. He never attempted to hide from the law, registering his businesses with his name, getting drivers licenses, etc. Recently he was giving his 3 year old daughter breakfast, when a SWAT team showed up at his door. He is now incarcerated. Mr. Anderson turned his life around, became a model citizen and yet, is now in prison. A clerical error was given as the reason, he was never provided instructions on where to serve his time.
