Everyone should be given the opportunity at a 2nd chance especially when he was not directly involved and was only found guilty by association as a minor. Everyone makes mistakes. He has served his time and deserves to be free.

There are many cases as Mr. Whiters' that are grossly disproportionate concerning the treatment of those favored. Countless African American, Hispanic and other ethnic groups, ( men and women), are being housed in prisons across the nation without regard to redemption. I truly believe that Mr. Whiters has shown himself capable of making that transition back into society. Too many children are being charged as adults based on the crime without consideration of the circumstances that led up to the event. Mr. Whiters has served most of his life incarcerated as a child who has matured into a man with a insatiable work ethic, geared towards helping others in need. I petition to free Mr. Whiters as he has done naught in my eyes as his behavior has been and continues to be exemplary.
