I've heard of bent coppers.....bent barristers and bent MPS but never heard of a bent jury when there was NO DNA evidence that they had any part if it and where are all the rest that were involved why just these three lads one being my nephew, a loving caring son and dad...the judicial system is bent and has just fucked up badly and the lads that actually did the damage go free.....its a cluster fuck.

I only know Ben through him being a really good friend to my daughter and family. It just goes to show how alcohol can change a person because Ben has got a lovely nature and so sensitive normally.

These 3 working family lads have been used as an example & passed an overly harsh sentence. Similar incidents, & worse, have recieved far lesser penalty. ALL involved should be penalised & the 3 sentences reviewed

This is so harsh, a couple months ago a bloke in Bideford was found guilty of the worst possible kind of paedophilia ever witnessed and had a longer sentence suspended due to over crowding in prison's . Now all those children will endure a life sentence while he's free to carry on with his life. How can these 3 lads have been sentenced like they have been for having a pub brawl when a convicted paedophile can walk free .

Everyone deserves justice but this sounds so dubious and I agree there's to much closeness gone on to the "victim" I personally think there's making skape goats but in this case you are wrong ,justice system sort it out !

I have known Ben for about 15 years, he is the softest bloke you could meet with the biggest heart. He has worked with me for the last 10 years. Whoever I need help he is always the one who says yes. He's a star. My kids love him to bits. Whenever your having a bad day you can garentee Ben will make you SMILE

This is sick! 3 hard working young men with young families locked away for standing their ground. That old fool is too aged and couldn't fight his corner so has put this on the boys to make a point. It's savage. The justice system is retarded when people get less for deliberate attacks. Punish the boys, put em in fluorescent jackets and make them clean public toilets... But they do not deserve this. Truly gutted for them and their families!!
