It is about time the Pakistani government found the courage to do the right thing. At the moment all it shows is extreme cowardice. If Allah is "merciful", why does the Pakistani government not model it when it deserves to be modelled?

Please show some compassion and let this lady return to her children. Everyone can make a mistake. Jesus is one of your prophets and he preached forgiveness and said 'Let he who is without sin cast the first stone,' and I am sure you know that no human on the planet is without sin. Please do not kill her for not understanding the import of her mistake and why not think of encouraging Christians and other faiths to leave Pakistan so it can be purely Islamic?

Please free Asia Bibi. What is being done to her is just not right. Languishing in prison for 9 years is harsh for a mother with a family to care for. I request the authorities to be open minded and not succumb to the extremists with their backward beliefs. Have compassion on this young lady and set her free.

No-one should be locked up and serve 9 years prison sentence under a death by hanging sentence for drinking at a rural well on a hot summer day, not knowing the well was Muslim and Christians couldn't drink from that well - where is the humanity!
