As a member of the St. Louis BBQ Society, we the below undersigned are requesting that Andrew Ahrens, Bringing The Heat BBQ team, all of members of said team and any and all affiliates disciplined from the event that occurred at the Wildwood BBQ Bash 2018 be allowed to be reinstated as members in good standing of St. Louis BBQ Society (SLBS). Andrew, his teammates, as well as Bringing the Heat team has served a full year of a four year suspension. We believe that a four year suspension is cruel and unusual.
I really started this thinking it would only be a few of us talking about the situation. The messages I am receiving from people across the community are humbling and show that this is about more than just one team to so many of you.

We all make mistakes! When uneducated judges make a decision on food that they truly have no idea what they are eating and it cost a team a major comp. of course we loose our minds. Some worse than others but how abt stl Bbq make sure the judges understand and know what a temped piece of meat is. I know the whole story Andrew is an amazing part of the bbq world and an amazing pot master.
