The Electoral Commission of Dominica has been sluggish in their response to clean up the bloated voters list. The Government of Dominica has been reluctant to fund the movement for electoral reform. If we allow our electoral process to continue to be conducted outside the guidelines that have been established, if we continue to stand idly by as our Constitution is blatantly disregarded and disrespected, we run the risk of giving up our freedom and face the very real danger of ceasing to be a democratic country and becoming a society where lawlessness is the norm and those with power make and break the rules at whim and victimize the powerless. We have the power to change our course. Let us shine a spotlight on our electoral process and force our Electoral Commission to give us the reform that we have been begging for since 2007. Show your support for free and fair elections in Dominica, so we can be sure that elections are fair on December 8, 2014 and the result is a true reflection of the choice of the people.
