Alqama has become a victim of showbaz Khadem-i-Aala through his planted thugs Rana Mashood and Zaeem Qadari. Case against Alqama is nothing but to humiliate an educationist who refused to dance on rulers tunes. Bot Ranan Mashood and Zaeem Qadari was demanding crores of rupees from Alqama to manage his extention as VC of Bahauddin Zakriya University, Multan. I know Alqama since our days at the Government College, Lahore and Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad. I can vouch for Alqama with whom I share 43 years long association, that if he has committed a crime at all, he would not sustain even a 10 minutes investigation amid physical remand. Alqama was facing an inquiry from NAB and attending its regular hearings. November 3rd was fixed for next hearing but he was arrested from his residence on October 29. Alqama's lawyers raised this question but the NAB judge didn't ask this question from the Prosecutor. Who says that NAB is taking directives from the Army? At least in Punjab it is being administrated and maneuvered by Thakat-i-Lahore. Shame on the Sharifs of Raiwind.

He is an academic and took administrative decision to open sub campus in Lahore. He should not be penalised for that.
