Freedom to all who defend democracy and their values peasefully! Critical thinking is one of the guiding principles of modern societies - and arresting scientists and students gives a bad memory in history! A great leader has no fear of dissidents because he knows a diverse society is stronger.

Release peaceful academics. Don’t deprive humanity from the insights that tomorrow needs and that academics shed.

Kuznetsov's arrest is a depply shameful moment for the Russian authorities, and ought to make the organisers of the 2022 ICM strongly reconsider.
