One of the greats .It is a disgrace that he has not been inducted. Perhaps it's all to do with the racism that pervades America under Trump.

National and International singing sensation. Performances for U.S. Presidents W. Bush and Clinton. No. 1 hits. Add Mr. Baldamar Huerta aka "Freddy Fender." Mexican Americans can be country music sensations, too.

Met mr. Freddie Fender, got to know him personally. My husband was also in the music business. Freddie was a true and faithful person, down to earth. Gentle and kind.

FREDDY WAS ONE OF THE GREATEST. His music opened my eyes to Tex-Mex Tejano music.
