Mr Freddy Fender deserves to be in the Country Music Hall of Fame for his national country music hits, his numbers concerts and Television appearances.. He did serve our country. Yea he received a "general discharge" for alcoholism but how many country western singers did not have this problem. Come on Cowboy, Freddie Fender deserves to be in the HOF. Btw, you better have Tex Ritter in the HOF already. LOL Hats off and cheers to everyone.

He outsold other C&W artists on song he subsequently recorded including Dolly Parton and Jerry Lee Lewis. He was an international superstar. He needs to be installed. Thank You. Johnny Pal and I should know because we looked like twins and I did many tributes for Freddy and knew him personally.
