Freddy deserves to represent his Mexican-American roots in the Country Hall of Fame for all the awards his music has received and for being of proud Hispanic background. Many of his recordings contain at least one verse in his native language.

The Hall of Fame should no longer ignore the induction of Freddy Fender. This neglect has gone on too long. While you are at it, add Charlie Rich too.

Most definitely Freddy Fender should be entered into the Hall of Fame. He is an icon! Gotta love Baldemar Huerta aka Freddy Fender!

It's a travesty of justice and sadder than any country song that Freddy Fender is not in the Country Music HOF. It's an insult to him, his legacy, his fans and the Latino community. Let's right this wrong in the only way that can be done.

I’ve always enjoyed his music he was ahead of his time great singer and great personality he was very quick witted and served in the marines he is Dow right awesome please support his wish for his career in the country hall a fame he earned it

Freddy is long overdue for the Hall of Fame. I had the honor of meeting Freddy in the late 70's in Toronto. It's time that Nashville started paying attention to Hispanic artists.

Saw him at Curtis six in the hall in Tampa and at Robarts sports arena in Sarasota
