In 1962, Watson, Crick, and Wilkens received a Nobel Prize based primarily on the images and conclusions that Rosalind Franklin, an X-ray Crystallographer, made.  However, Watson, Crick, and Wilkens barely mentioned Franklin as a contributor when they accepted their award.  Franklin died in 1958, four years before the prize was awarded.  Even though she died before the awards were presented and was not known then, she should be given the honor and recognition.  Without her, the three who got the award would never have come close to their discovery.  The prize should have been awarded based on ACHIEVEMENT, not STATE OF BEING.
