I'm' a long time City resident and taxpayer and enjoy the chance to fairly share in the use of city provided fields. I've noticed the last few years that only 1 or two softball leagues now dominate the field reservations, and based on experience, don't represent the type of game and team play that has been available in the past. Itfeels like changes to the reservation process has now skewed away the opportunity for legacy leagues (Ulitmate Sports is one notable one) to fairly have the opportunity to equally offer games on several popular fields intown.. If this continues it will be necessary to involve our city government representation for oversight, as there is an impression that something inappropriate and not fair is going on within the Parks and Recreation reservation system.

I would love for Ultimate Sports or even Atlanta Sports and Social to get Frankie Allen again! I really miss playing there.

Make the process fair and not "fastest fingers" and computer programs should not carry the day.

My team tried Zog Sports for one season at Frankie Allen. We really wanted to get back to Frankie Allen, which we feel is our home field. We were missing Ultimate Sports and thought we would give Zog a try. I'm all for ASA rules with modifications per the league, but the modifications that Zog implemented were beyond what we wanted to play. The league is great if you are a team that is NOT competitive and are new to the sport though. We want to play at Frankie Allen, but we'll never play Zog again. Makes no sense that Zog has every night of the week when City of Atlanta says it's by the hour and it's a lottery...something is amiss.

Frankie Allen was my weeknight home for a 6 years after I moved to Atlanta. It's disappointing that the locally owned and operated leagues have been basically barred from operating at this park now. Zog is basically the big box bookstore from You've Got Mail, but without all the charm of Tom Hanks.
Buy local.

I've been playing at Frankie Allen for years and it's one of the best in-town facilities. It's unfortunate that Zog and the powers that be have monopolized this field and shut out long time players. To be completely honest, Zog isn't a very fun league to play in and it's a total drag with the strike mat. Please stop this madness.
