I have never met such a good or esteemed and human being as a Greek orthodox priest before, open and kind . In fact I've never liked the dogmatic nature of old style preaching of any tradition. Michael Petrakis has brought a fresh air to my own personal belief and an anewed want to participate in the orthodox tradition and bring my child to it. Should the man himself want to stay with the Leeds church then nothing, but nothing should stand in his way. He's the best priest I've ever met from Greece to Jerusalem. . Thank you.

I sign the petition for father Michail to continue serving the church in Leeds.

Father Michael has worked wonders in our church. He has drawn the young community in, makes each service meaning and has an amazing personality. We all make mistakes even priests but that doesn’t mean he should be punished for the rest of his life by taking away what he loves the most.

Ο παπα Μιχάλης είναι παράδειγμα και για άλλους παπάδες. Εξαιρετικός χαρακτήρας και πάνω απ όλα καλός άνθρωπος. Και επίσης είναι ο λόγος πιστεύω που παρατηρείται αύξηση της νεολαίας στην εκκλησία μας στο Λιντς.

Father Michael is an amazing priest. We have noticed just how much the church has changed for the better since his arrival. We are members that have started coming more and more because of him! He has supported us as a family and showed love towards our sick child. We look forward to visiting the church because of him! He even cut short his holiday to perform our wedding ceremony. We cannot express just how much he is loved in the community, how he's missed and just how much peoples view towards the church on a whole has changed for the better. We always look forward to seeing him, it just won't be the same!

Micheal should be allowed to continue to do what he loves

Father Michael is the best thing that has ever happened to our community. He is kind natured and a very calming father. He is respected by everyone.. young and old .. I cannot express how much he is being missed in our community .. please bring him back!

Προσευχόμαστε και ελπίζουμε να επιστρέψει ο πατήρ Μιχαήλ στην ορθόδοξη εκκλησία των Τριών Ιεραρχών του Leeds. Το έργο του και η παρουσία του έιναι πολύτιμη και πολυδιάστατη στους δύσκολους καιρούς που ζούμε.

Ο πατήρ Μιχαλης ένωσε την κοινωτητα μην αφήσετε να διαλυθεί αυτό το έργο που τοσο δυσκολα καταφερε όλη η κόίνότήτά είναι ενωμένη πισω απο τον πατερ

Εργάζεται με ζήλο για την εκκλησία και το ποίμνιο του. Η συγχώρεση και η αγάπη είναι η σημαία της ορθοδοξίας. Πρόκειται για έναν εξαιρετικό ιερέα με φλογερά κηρύγματα, πάντα παρόν Να βοηθήσει και να προσφέρει στον πλησίον καθώς και ένας υπέροχος πατέρας για τα μικρά παιδάκια του.

Παρακαλώ να επιστρέψει στα καθήκοντα του ο πατήρ Μιχαήλ.

Παρακαλούμε τον Αρχιεπίσκοπο να αναθεωρήσει την απόφαση του. Να μην αφήσει την υποκρισία να κρύβεται πίσω από τους κανόνες. Να ακολουθήσει το παράδειγμα του Χριστού που υπερέβη τους κανόνες για να θεραπεύσει το Σάββατο και να θεραπέυσει την πληγή που η απόφαση αυτή άνοιξε στην κοινότητα μας.

Η εκλησια χρειαζεται τον Παπα Μιχαλη έχει κερδίσει τις καρδιές των πιστών με το έργο και την προσωπικότητά του.
