Farther Michael Petrakis is the best priest This community has ever had He is well respected and very kind hearted. I am amazed that this is even happening in today’s day and age. He has not committed a crime!! All he wants to do is serve his community and be a good family man. I feel that the way he is being treated is un just and unfair and not in line with our faith which practices love and forgiveness not punishment, and the powers that be,should strongly reconsider their decision and reinstate him back as our priest at the Greek Orthodox Church in Leeds as soon as possible and for the future of our community who all need him.

Bring him back, we need him!

Father Michael Petrakis is the man who made our church and community unite as never before ,one could see the weekly attendances in the church. The Christian faith preaches love and forgiveness and not punishment....

I think Father Michael is by far the best priest the Greek community has ever had. His manner and attitude is first class, and he communicates with the younger generation, which is very important for the future of the church.

I would be devastated if our community was to lose our wonderful Father Michael

This priest is amazing, he is so geneorous and the church wouldnt be the same without him, more people have come because of how kind he is.

The love and respect that father Michael enjoys from the entire Greek community is testimony to his commitment and contribution to the church and his flock. He should be allowed to carry on his excellent work.

Father Mixali baptised my son and has been an excellent support to my family. I wish to see him back in the centre of our community and church.

Church should follow real life or don't ask to join you

Είναι κρίμα να χάσουμε μια τέτοια θεόσταλτη προσωπικότητα από την κοινότητα μας! Είναι κρίμα να χάσει η Εκκλησία ένα τόσο χαρισματικό λειτουργό! Ας αγωνιστούμε όλοι μας να τον κρατήσουνε κοντά μας!

I am bitterly disappointed and rather disgusted with the treatment of our loving and caring Father Michael. I appeal to the highest he is a man of God and 100% Christlike, he is a man of great faith and good character. He has a hit a number of milestones but God is forgiving and so should you. Speaking for both me and my child we really would love Father Michael back as our priest in Church

I fully and support Father Michael he is a true spiritual Father always willing to help his community and has been a God sent to our family. We all need him to stay and help our community to grow and to keep the young Orthodox Christians within our community. Father Michail is the glue of our church here in the UK!
