I am a grandparent to two children in the Hernando County school zone. Another joins the school system next year. This is an extremely serious matter. Please make this right.

There is no excuse for not taking the safety of our children first and foremost. This teacher should have been removed immediately from any contact with children until the situation could be evaluated and the safety of the students assured. These school officials have let us down miserably and we were very lucky that we did not have an incident similar to the one in Tennessee due to their incompetence.

Fire the trans teacher, Hernando County School District, Superintendent John Stratton, School Board Chair Gus Guadagnino, School Board Vice Chair Susan Duval, and District 2 (Fox Chapel) School Board member, Linda Prescott, from their positions, effective immediately.

It should be common sense to remove a teacher threatening the lives of his students! Parents should have been notified and he most definitely should not be allowed around children.

Our children come first, It seems our nation and this school board is forgetting that. Parents are responsible for their children and have all rights to know what is happening, that is not the schools boards choice!

Shocked they were even elected. Absolutely terrible what has happened to the schools my children attended in this county. Watched them go from great to the worst in a short period of time.
