I recently watch the new Fantastic Four movie. I must say, wasn't very pleased. The editing fucked it up. According to director Josh Trank, who three years ago was known for directing the found footage superhero film Chronicle, the original cut was a "fantastic version" that would've gotten great reviews, but I can't tell if he was just being cocky like Legendary Pictures when they made Blackhat and Seventh Son or if he's right. I don't know what it was about Trank's original cut that 20th Century Fox didn't like but I think the fans deserve to see what could've been. They should at least release it on DVD and Blu-ray as a Director's Cut of some kind.
