when i first moved to Barrie i visited Promenade and walked passed this "petting zoo"! I saw the horrible conditions then 4 years ago and expressed my concerns to the owners. I was told it was none of business and that they were happy. Sadly, I didn't know how to shut them down and haven't been to any city of Barrie festivals since. I am very relived that there is this petition and there is an open investigation.

I walked by the alpaca and was completely disgusted by how depressed, dirty and skinny it was.

I witnessed most of this as i live right accross the street from where they were set up. It was aweful n these animals deserve better !!!

Please, stop all this. This isn't right! You should not treat animals like these! They might just be an 'animal' to you but not to forget that they have feelings too! Can you imagine if you're being treated exactly like this? Can you? Where's faith? Where's humanity? What happened to this world? For God's sake, please stop all this.
