Conrad Murray was sentenced today to four (4) years in jail for the death of Michael Jackson. His gross negligence and repeated failures to meet the minimum standards of care as a physician were egregious. Unfortunately, under California sentencing guidelines, the actual amount of jail time Conrad Murray will spend in jail will be determined by the Sheriff of Los Angeles County. It is possible that he may serve only a fraction of his actual sentence. We must send a message to Sheriff Leroy D.
