I understand calendars need to be approved at state level by spring. So if not this year we should really tackle this for 22-23 school year. Our district should all be on same schedule not half and half!

The schools haven't been able to support a educational system for 3 years so why should the kids suffer any more than they have to its a broken system 4 days a week is enough.

With the issue of poor attendance, lack of morale, expense of substitute teachers, covid and the fact that every school district that has gone to 4 day work weeks, it seems like a no-brainer. It's better for families.

It will be much better for my children, I feel like 5 days of school is too much for them. Their brains need to catch a break to be able to perform better.

A 4 day school schedule is a fantastic idea and would help us parents better navigate our work schedules. I believe a 4 day school week will also allow instructors more time to prep and avoid burnout.
