I really never thought this would gain this much steam but here we are and people are actually seeing the vision for Ben Foster as the new Freddy. It is honestly pretty wild to think about him in the makeup because he has that exact kind of intensity that the character needs to be terrifying again.

been saying this for years. he is legit the most underrated actor out there and he would make freddy actually scary again instead of a joke
Ben Foster is the only person who could pull off that kind of intensity. He would own that role.
