Fort Ridgely State Park is a wonderful park - and outdoor experience with history AND a great golf course. If the manpower had not been cut I believe it would still be a profitable park, our DNR set the park up for failure. Please re-consider this unfair decision, it will affect not only our generation but generations to come.

I am 82 years old and have visited this park since I was little, I learned to play golf on this course, and due to bursitis, I do not golf anymore, but I think it would be a terrible loss to close this course, I always thought it was a very nice, and challenging course with all the hills and natural woods surrounding the fairways

The golf course should stay open, and they should be fixing and maintaining the facilities for campers. This park is well-used. Just because it is not in the metro area does not mean rural people don't appreciate and use this park.

I love this park. It shows us parts of the war. It gives us Golf, skiing, snowmobiling and hiking. It's a great place to have fun.

The Fort Ridgley golf course is an integral part of not only the state park, but also the Fairfax community and the sports teams of GFW schools. Taking that away will hinder growth to our young children as well as recreation for the old.
