This is an amazingly talented artist who happens to be local. Let's keep Fort Dodge pride in Fort Dodge when possible. His design is 100% better and in my opinion should have taken the win!!!

Why would you put a black and white painting of what looks like Elton John on the silos? Mr. Johnson's is absolutely beautiful and shows the pride in Ft. Dodge that we all want to have! Not for the first time I am embarrassed to call "dirty dodge" my home town!

I believe that Josh's design is a much more relevant view of Fort Dodge. Many comments already mention "Who even are the people in the design?" Well, nobody knows! Having a local artist do work would be so much more appealing and give us a better name as a town that cares for its talented locals. Please, let's rethink who we chose.

The city of Fort Dodge asked their community to vote, citizens of all ages, voted and the artist who won was not chosen. What does this teach our voters, especially the younger generation ? Exactly what we don't want to teach them, that their vote doesn't count. Make it right Fort Dodge.
