I grew up in Bridger Valley and I think it's important to keep our Historical sites preserved and maintained. Our children and our children's children deserve to have the same experiences and education that we got from spending time at the fort. Keeping it well maintained is extremely important in order for that to happen.

I have to agree with this...It is a beautiful piece of History and should be kept alive for families to enjoy every year. If it is not kept up then it will just be set aside and lose the appreciation it deserves.

I worked at the Fort for 5 years it is an amazing place. Have your ever taken the time to personally visit the legacy that is there? You have the opportunity to decide whether this piece of history is preserved or left to fall by the way side. Please save and fund this piece of the past for your children as well as our children. Wyoming needs to continue to remember our heritage and the struggles of our founding fathers, as it is the path to strengthen our future. With out funding for Fort Bridger all this will be lost and slowly fade away. So it will be with the reminder of why Wyoming is what America was.

Yes, we need to preserve our historical sites and grounds with full time maintenance. Our children and grandchildren deserve to see what real life and struggles were given to grow this country.
