This petition is in regards to the Oxford Dictionary definition of the word "theory". The scientific definition of theory does not mean an idea, it is in fact a collection of facts. However, if you look up the word theory in the Oxford Dictionary, it will tell you that it is an idea, using Darwin's theory of evolution as an example. If they are going to use a scientific theory as an example, then they should at least have the correct definition of said theory.
