Many of us even expanded our vocabulary through the quality of language used, which reflected positively on SLC’s commitment to professionalism and inclusivity. Unfortunately, the present commentary has fallen far below those standards. The lack of professionalism and quality is evident, and it does not reflect the stature or reputation that Sri Lanka Cricket deserves. This decline is not only disappointing for loyal followers but also damaging to SLC’s image as a leading cricketing body. I sincerely urge you to take immediate steps to restore the commentary to its former standard—professional, bilingual, and of top-class quality. Doing so will reaffirm SLC’s dedication to excellence and ensure that fans continue to feel proud of the content produced under its name. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I trust that under your leadership, corrective measures will be taken to uphold the standards we once admired.
