This has gone on far too long in CCSD. I noticed it when I started working for them back in 1999!

Our son was abused at school and we had to complain to OCR because the lack of transparency is beyond comprehension.

This should also include much more parent involvement with classroom time, lack of recess which was taken away. Perhaps, NOT giving so many day OFF that are tied to all weekends and holidays, fall and spring break! These days off are just compromising time in class. Then you decide to pull time from the students for lunch and recess. Seriously?

I don't like seeing that our tax dollars are being misspent on new offices, and whatever else. This money is for the education of our children and not for administrators and the Board of Education for the district to spend willy nilly. My children are grown and I don't have grandchildren in this district but I pay my taxes to ensure that the excellent education that my children received continues on.

Transparency shouldn’t be optional.

You work for the students and their families and without transparency, we cannot trust our schools.
You are accountable to the taxpayers and must be responsible in both finance and governance. Stop hiding behind your titles and serve the public good.

I retired early December 1, 2025, because I wasn’t happy with the way Transportation employees were being treated in Cherry Creek school District.

As a former school board member you are derelict in your performance to allow this toxic environment to manifest. Do your jobs!

Look into spending at admin buildings, even the daily spending. Look into where the money is being spent as far as the bond goes. The new office they’re renting and the money spent there. Why about the buildings they’re tearing down to build the new cherry creek campus, millions of dollars spent the last few years to give these people what they want for nothing.
The projects that are being put on hold. Admin truly and people at these buildings have more than the children. And they’re spending the money on themselves over the kids.
It starts at the top and it trickles down.
The “directors” in pay scales. The pay ranges. They take care of their friends.

Our children need to learn the basics. Reading, writing and math. Also the Bill of Rights and Constitution. Not difficult to teach. Enough of this ‘woke’ agenda!

This is a disgrace. CCSD was one a premier district and you the school board have let this happen. Shame on you!

This is not a new issue because they only hire Superintendents from within. The School Board needs to actually keep an eye on the district instead of rubber stamping everything.

Providing a solid education with a well managed staff is the goal which does not include bias and political paths to empower individuals!

Got to pull out the root, including the school board that enabled this, make no mistake
