This petition seeks to gauge support for the formation of a North Carolina Geo-Institute Chapter. The primary purpose of the NC GI Chapter will be to organize GeoCarolinas, a recurring technical conference that will provide high-quality geotechnical continuing education opportunities to the geoprofessionals working in the Carolinas. The NC GI Chapter will also provide programming assistance in support of the NC ASCE Section efforts in hosting multi-disciplinary conferences.
