Young lady, I know your uncle and your father and Derrick, we all was apart of a circle in some way. I myself was there the day it happen and the way media said it happen it did not happen that way, the people that witness it knows the truth, I tell you Derrick had just spoken to me that day living out the school building on the John street side, when everyone was going toward the fight, we know that Red Swan was friends with Derrick and he would never hurt his friend or friends, that day was a sad day because the one who should have been charge for wat happen got away that day but God made it his business to get him any way, he is lock up now for the rest of his life because he knew he was the real killer. We also know that this gang was always into something at the time fighting everyone they could I even had my fall outs with them a one point in my teenage life, it was not at that level but almost near it. See my friend Red Swan and Derrick Turnbow was good guys who was some the smartest guys at Taft, believe it or not Derrick knew that his friend Red Swan did not mean to hurt him, he know that he was no the target that day as he was trying to get away from the mess that day he was used by the real murder as a shield, so if you really want know the truth. I watch two of my friends loss the lifes behind a foolish fight. well if any one remember how Red Swan in school he was a cool laid back guy who was alway at peace the only thing is he seen how his lil brother Greg was having problems with a gang of over 100 guys and he done wat any body would do go get his brother, I know I woukd for mine, now I know having weapons is wrong and dont believe in that but thats wat happen, but I feel that my friend Red Swan should be set free because first he was a teenager that made a mistake but see how the law is being use to make young men like Red Swan look like monsters when they are not, Red Swan Derrick had forgive you along time ago, believe me he know he was not a ene

What a tragic time this was. Family and Friends torn apart by such a tragic accident a foolish mistake.... We all grew up together and I would think Derrick would fill the same way as we all do. Redd deserves a 2nd chance in life a life where he can show the world what a change man he has become... It's been long overdo! Come home soon Redd!!!!

HE HAS ALWAY BEEN A CARING AND RESPECTFUL MANTHE INCIDENT THAT ACCURED SO LONG AGO IS NOT A REFLECTION OF EDWIN TO DATE, AND THE CHANCE TO GO FORWARD IN LIFE WOULD BE JUSTICE IN TH CASE. When I heard of this for Edwin,I thought of my god-son and how much of his life was taken because of this. I know that he was never a bad person to me,or how everyone portrayed him to be. He was a young parent,his son was an infant when this happened! He thought what he was doing was right. Derrick never deserved to have his life taken early,but Noebert Nadel is not GOD either.He MADE AN EXAMPLE OUT OF MY FRIEND THAT WASN'T FAIR!! I can remember going to court with his bm,seeing tears in his eyes at sentencing,him still apologizing to Derrick's mom andpleading that "He didnt mean it!" Now,it's 25 years later. He has SUFFERED long enough,HELL HIS SON HAS SUFFERED LONG ENOUGH!, He got grand children now. Even Derrick would say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!
