I saw the best of students newspapers from the inside (Reveille) and watched in grad school as another great paper (UGA's Red & Black) went down the toilet. Don't let that happen to the Reveille.

As a reveille alumna, I believe the fate of our beloved newspaper should be left up to the students who run it day in and day out.

I now work in public relations, but I learned so much at the Reveille. I became a better writer, which is useful is all communication fields, not just journalism. The Manship School and LSU produce solid communicators, and many of them owe their success to their time at the Reveille.

As a product of a student newspaper and now working in journalism, I have no idea where I'd be without my college publication. Every student should have that chance.

I worked at the reveille from 2002-2003 when I graduated. Because of my ad sales experience I received another ad sales position in New Orleans at alt paper - gambit weekly. I've been there 12 years now. Without any question or doubt - my experience at LSU and then Reveille helped me get that position and I'm forever grateful. #reveillestaysdaily
