We need Safe Uniform Pedestrian Access to our schools, churches, parks and local businesses. The Village Board should make installing sidewalks throughout all of Forest Hills a priority. Rewrite the current sidewalk policy. It doesn't work!

Sidewalks directly affect the well-being of our residents and the continuity and appearance of our neighborhood. Please make this a priority.

We need sidewalks in Forest Hills for the safety of our residents. Please fund this study so we can make this happen. Kids walking to school, people out walking their dogs, elderly people and people with disabilities are walking in the street. This is so dangerous.

Sidewalks are needed everywhere in Forest Hills, especially on the two streets that lead directly to Forest Hills School: Fair Elms and Central Avenues. There are many kids and adults who have to walk to and from school in the street. There has also been a noticeable uptick in people out walking since March, while more residents are at home.

We need sidewalks now! This has been a discussion and need in FH for 15 years. Time to get it done!

Kids walking safely to and from school should not be a debatable issue.

I think it is interesting that the board wanted to cram an $80K study for a bike path that nobody wanted down our throats but they won't do a study for a small percentage of that amount to protect our kids.

Not only do sidewalks keep kids safe while around Forest Hills and going/from to school, but there are plenty of elderly people who would greatly benefit from the safety of sidewalks!!

The village must address the public safety issue of kids having to walk to school in the streets.

My family is not safe walking on the street in Forest Hills. I live on Grand Avenue near 55th Street, and cars are always speeding to get to the main road. Our kids at least deserve minimal safety precautions, such as sidewalks.

Please move forward with this feasibility study! Our children and neighbors need safe, uninterrupted Sidewalks to walk and ride bikes on!

We need this study so we can determine the best way to add sidewalks to this neighborhood. Safety first - let's stop forcing people and wheel-chair bound residents to take it to the streets.

We live in a wonderful neighborhood, but it would be safer if our kiddos didn’t have to ride their bikes in the streets.

Why is our communities safety not a priority? What is more important than someone’s life?

The current WS Village policy is dysfunctional in that in 50 years, we may still have patchwork sidewalks. Need a new approach.
