It's insulting that these folks don't feel it's necessary to disclose how they are spending OUR tax dollars. I'm curious as to what they have to hide. Happy to sign this petition and I hope it is successful.

When one puts their name on any ballot , the goal is to get elected right ? The only way to do that is to gain the trust & respect of the voters . I , myself have been in the sales & service industry for over 20 years & I can tell you it's not about what you're selling but about selling yourself . Again , it's about gaining someone's trust & respect , no different than being on a campaign trail. Many times during the meeting in question did we hear about the cost of a forensic audit. Let me tell all the councillors that voted no to this motion, " you can't put a monetary value on gaining & retaining someone's trust & respect " . Do the right thing for our county but more importantly for yourselves , especially if you decide to run in this year's municipal election. It's safe to say you're probably all facing a hill you may not be able to climb come election time.

if there is nothing to hide , then an audit should be a non issue. Apparently the cost of the audit is the issue as per the council. But there were obviously some other costs incurred that were less useful !

If you have nothing to hide, then it should be no problem to do the audit. You make yourselves look guilty for voting against it!!!! Lots of people will remember that during reelection!!!!
