We request a forensic audit into Island Transit's expenditures since 1/2/2008 please. Island Transit had $7.72 million in reserves on that date, yet in September 2014 went into the red for several days and Island Transit's insurance premiums are now being deferred. There is also the matter of the opulence and wasteful spending regarding Island Transit's headquarters plus the questionable severance agreement with the former Island Transit Executive Director.

All of which make us wonder what actually happened in regards to Island Transit and what can be done to get Island Transit into a better financial position. As such, we support a forensic audit into Island Transit.
