Foreign drivers to sit New Zealand Drivers Licence test

Drivers from oversea have to take a test for their driving ability and attitude.

This needs to be for ALL foreign drivers regardless of how long or short their stay in NZ is. We had to sit a local driving test in Samoa

If you aren't confident then don't get behind the wheel! There is always another alternative. I am not convinced I would feel comfortable driving in another country on the opposite side of the road therefore I have opted to take a bus or train! It's not about you it's about the others whose lives that you take!

Don't think there is any other way of stopping these crashes. Feel anxious driving around holiday time as you just don't know what's coming down the road towards you (driving on the wrong side)

I think if you are a foreign driver it does not matter how long you are staying in NZ for you should still be required to sit a test

We need to stop giving foreign people who take lives on nz roads, these minimal sentances. When in their own country we would face harsher penalties, or in their own country they themselves would face harsher penalties, than what we give them here.
