Foreign drivers to sit New Zealand Drivers Licence test

Yes please. See too many foreigners causing accidents that could have been avoided

We had to get a bike license in roratonga to get around...so why tourist in NZ shld do the same

As a motorcyclists traveling in Central Otago for many years and witnessing first hand the herendous driving exhibited by foreign drivers on our roads this is very much needed!!

I support this petition. New Zealand welcomes safe drivers. This action may help reduce the road toll on New Zealand roads.

I agree, the light sentences these people get for killing someone is unbelievable

All overseas drivers should go thru a refresher course as N.Z..rules might differ from their home country

I totally agree that visitors to our country need to prove they can safely drive on our roads. How many times does this has to happen before a change is made. One too many for my liking.

I support this position as kiwis have strict test for our drivers licences so why don't these people from other country's have do complete at least a days course before driving our roads. Please do something now or more incent kiwis are going to die. My thought go to this family as we have lost a family member as well on a motor bike STOP BLAMING THESE BIKES KEEP OUR ROADS SAGE

this shld be a compulsory requirement and done by special testers... not our normal nz testers.... a different group higher in nzta. why do l say this???? some yrs ago l had a friend and her son went 4 licence, passed on 1st attempt... they gave tester a bckhander 4 him 2 pass.... the same testing station my son went 2, who was a better and more reliable driver failed and tester laughed. we dont need ppl on nz rds with bus ticket driver licences from testing stations like this.... we need ppl we can trust and the tourists know our rd code.

I think all foreign tourists who are not familiar with driving on the left shoud pass a test before they even drive in NZ.
