Should be any tourists even some sort of small test, not just those with visa's over three months, it is the short stay ones we see causing so much havioc around the MacKenzie Country and Lindis Pass

I think they should sit a test no matter how long they are intending to stay in NZ. the ones here for shorter times are often sight seeing along NZs most dangerous roads

It's long past time for this to happen. How many more innocent people have to die on our roads by foreigners because they simply don't know our road rules.

Please make sure that anyone who goes behind the wheel has to sit for a theory and practical exam regardless of the time they stay in the country. If the person doesn't know the rules being behind the wheel just once is enough to cause a disaster.

Most definitely agree with this petition. Road deaths from foreigners is not going to get better. Wake up NZ Govt.

Yes, it's the safety concern.. we dont want someone having less knowledge of our driving rules decides if we live another day or not while it's doing the same damage to him/her self.

I too have experienced foreign tourists driving on the wrong side on several occasions and seen a collision here on the Coromandel--- something has to be done

Come on nz government it not a brainstorm imagine if it was your little girl or boy that was killed by a driver who is is not familiar with our roads. Bloody hell when you go to Rarotonga you have to do it and it's just a tiny island it shouldn't be a money issue so hurry up and get the ball rolling.
