I have an ST and concerned with how easy it appears to be able to steal these cars using the OBD port. Needs to sorted ASAP as any ford owner will no have to seriously consider the additional cost of having a decent alarm fitted to prevent theft. Something that should be fitted from the factory really!!!

If Land Rover can issue a modification that stops this happening why have Ford not yet done so as of yet, so many ford's being stolen it's s joke. Ford engineering team really need to get this resolved.

Get a safety device for my OBD port!! Want the problem sorted asap before my pride and joy gets stolen.

I think its absolutely discussing that property can steal cars this simply and no one has even battered eyelid!! Where dies this leave us from an insurance point of view! Our premiums are going to shoot up due to ford's flaws in security

Had my 61 plate Zetec S stolen in this way. Replaced it with an ST and am shocked it is still happening on the newer models. It's vans also. People losing not just their pride and joy but their livelihoods too.

I currently own a Ford Fiesta ST and this News makes me very paranoid so I hope the petition goes through

Ive paid nearly 20 grand for a car that can be nicked in less than 30 seconds had fords and Audi's for all of my driving life if Ford don't sort this I won't be buying anymore

shocking how easily these cars are being stolen, action needs taken its not only encouraging crime but also effecting peoples lifes and putting lifes at risk!!!!
