Used to own a MKII Ford Focus RS and used be paranoid about this issue. Had to keep it locked in garage and still was scared at night.

This type of vehicle crime has been on the increase for the past 5 years. It is about time the manufacturers tackled the problem. There has been enough media coverage so just ignoring it is not acceptable.

More needs to be done by Ford here. This isnt a recent problem its been going on for years now, and Ford still hasnt adressed it. Thefts are becoming that common its putting people off buying these great all rounders.

Ive had to spend nearly £1000 for an addition system which deactivates the OBD port when the alarm is activated to try and ensure my car does not vanish!
